The Atto 3 holds a five-star rating from 2022, and CarExpert reports that the Evo carries it, although ANCAP's own page lists only the classic variants.

Reviews

RACV called the Sealion 7 "a compelling option for value-seeker families", and it criticized the stiff suspension and the rear visibility. EV Central gave the Sealion 7 Premium 4 out of 5 and recommended it over the Performance, although it found the infotainment fiddly and the DC charging behind newer electric cars. The review page covers the Atto 3 reviews.

Verdict

The Atto 3 Evo Premium is the better buy for most buyers, because it has the same motor as the Sealion 7 Premium, more range, and faster DC charging for $8,000 less. The Sealion 7 is the better buy for a family that needs the larger cabin and rear seat, or for a buyer who wants all-wheel drive, which only the Sealion 7 Performance offers of the two in Australia.

So, the Sealion 7 is worth the extra money for its size, not for its range or charging.
